Choose from Level 1, Level 2 or AATC Accredited Programs
As pioneers in online learning, our e-learning curriculum was accredited by the ICF in 2004. We now offer 16 Coach Training Programs with a thriving community of coaches in over 126 countries around the world.
We know that coach education is an investment of time and money, and we care about your success. With our training, support and guidance you will not only achieve Professional Coach Certification, but will step into the role of Coach with confidence. And, because we have a “whole system” methodology you will not be pigeon holed into a single niche. Instead, you will have the skills to coach anyone, anywhere in the world.
We teach you to identify, and then leverage the one thing that is unique about you, and turn it into a Professional Coaching Model.
Our Practice-based curriculum gives you a thorough grounding in the latest theories and philosophies of coaching, whilst integrating the skills and concepts into practice with hands on Coaching Demos and participation in a Peer Coaching Program.
The Academic Schedule is structured to give you time for practice and reflection in between classes. That way you can take your new skills, try them out with real clients and then come back for feedback and questions. It is a continuous cycle of growth.
Most coach education is based on a single philosophy or coaching theory. Some courses reference Systemic Coaching, some draw exclusively on Neuroscience or Brain Based Coaching, while others are embedded in a positive psychology or cognitive behaviour therapy paradigm.
At ICA we take a different approach. We believe that your clients and your market are as unique as you are. Generic models will only get you, and them, so far. The most successful coaches know how to draw on their strengths to develop a unique, customised coaching model that will work specifically in their market and for their clients.

Gone are the days where you could simply call yourself a Coach based on a personal or professional self assessment. Clients expect that the Coach they employ has been assessed as having the skills and knowledge to practice as a coach and hold an accredited Coach Certification (at a minimum).
ICF credentials such as ACC, PCC or MCC then offer a second layer of reassurance, representing the coach’s commitment to ongoing professional skill development and the latest coaching practices and research.

There are no specific prerequisites to become a certified coach, although many of our students come to coaching from related disciplines such as consulting, management, education, HR and health.
When you talk to us this is the first question we will ask you, because where you are now in your career will influence the the type and length of program best suited to you. All our programs have pathways that enable you to commit up front to the full 125 hours of accredited training, or start small and upgrade as you go along.
Coaching is growing rapidly as both a career in and of itself, but also as a powerful tool for change in a range of workplaces and industries. ICA caters for a broad range of career placements. You might choose to set up your own professional practice, in which case our Business Building resources and Business Labs will support you. You might decide to bring coaching to your workplace; our Group Coaching course will be an additional skillset to add to your portfolio.
ICA students have 24/7 access to the ICA Learnsite including learning materials, module downloads, curated resources, class schedules, peer coaching networks, and a private coaches forum with global networks and friendships. There’s the choice to fast track or take your time, with morning, afternoon, evening, weekday and weekend classes. You choose what days and times you study. Perfect for people with a busy work or family life.
You will design your own Coaching Model to mee the specific requirements of your niche and your clients
Our Coaches come from diverse backgrounds, but they all come with one common goal – to make an impact in the world and create better results through coaching.
Through our programs our Graduates form long lasting relationships both personal and professional.
Start as colleagues, leave as friends
All Our Graduates Complete a Research Paper, Design Their Own Coaching Model and Create a Coaching Power Tool.

In addition to a unique coaching model, our graduates research a specific area of interest to them and their niche and develop an article that can be used to share their expertise with clients.
A deep dive into a topic or concept related to coaching
The Coaching Research task is designed to provide students with the opportunity to explore a particular topic or concept in depth.
The application of coaching to a specific context
Students choose a real life coaching scenario and analyse the influence of coaching with a focus on their personal coaching style or model.
A unique style & process to define you as a Coach
The Coaching Model is a representation of values, core practices, personal experience, philosophies and beliefs. At ICA context matters!
A powerful tool to help clients reframe a perspective
At ICA students learn the important skill of ‘reframing a perspective.’ They then create their own unique Coaching Power Tool. ‘This vs That’
I felt really drawn to ICA for its international component, knowing I would be learning and peer coaching with professionals from around the world. During the program, I coached with people from the United States, Italy, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Germany, and the UK. That cross-cultural experience broadened my skills in a way I don’t believe I could have gained in any other program.
